Energy Efficiency
Choose market-leading energy-efficient UPVC windows, doors, conservatories and roofline
Why choose energy-efficient PVC-U building products?
Homes and buildings are responsible for almost half of the UK’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. What’s more, 20 per cent of the heat escaping from an average home is lost through its windows.*

Regulatory measures are being brought to bear to help improve energy efficiency in buildings. The Building Regulations relating to new windows in home extensions are becoming increasingly strict, while the Code for Sustainable Homes sets out mandatory energy-efficiency standards for all new-build properties. For commercial and public-sector buildings, BREEAM environmental assessments set out similarly stringent guidelines.
Homeowners are increasingly demanding energy-efficient products to help cut energy consumption and reduce their energy bills. Windows themselves are now rated for energy efficiency by the Window Energy Rating (WER) scheme on a scale from A to G, making it easier for consumers to choose the best-performing products.
All of which means it’s now not just desirable, but essential, to fit energy-efficient windows, doors and building products.
Advanced energy-saving UPVC products from Eurocell
At Eurocell we understand the importance to homeowners, installers, fabricators and specifiers of improving energy efficiency in buildings. That’s why we have developed a range of advanced energy-efficient UPVC products that offer high performance, versatility and affordability.
Eurocell can provide energy-rated window systems with Window Energy Ratings anywhere in the range from A to C, to meet individual requirements. In fact, our technically advanced Eurologik window profile system has been used to develop a window specification that achieves the highest Window Energy Rating (A+14) of any double-glazed PVC-U window available in the UK. What’s more, windows with a U-value of 0.8, which meets Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6, are already available and being installed on new properties.
