"WER' And How We Buy Windows

“When Window Energy Ratings (WERs) were first introduced by the BFRC in 2004, its aim was to provide a balanced calculation of how a window performs once installed, and which was easy for homeowners to understand. Prior to the WER scheme being introduced, U-values had been the accepted method of measuring performance.
