Our innovative range of PVC-U Thermal Inserts has now been extended, allowing fabricators to use them with Ultimate 70 sashes. This follows from the success of the range with Eurologik profiles since launch.

At a glance, benefits of PVC-U Thermal Inserts include:

•    Considerable improvement in thermal performance over unreinforced profiles, giving an Energy Index improvement of up to six points.

•    Eliminates the need for expensive glass specifications. This is done by subdividing the profile, creating multiple chambers, significantly reducing convection currents in the profile to provide greater thermal efficiency.

•    Extruded in specially formulated ORM- PVC-U, they can be cut and welded during the normal production of the window, therefore eliminating the need for the additional step of cutting and fitting steel in the production process.

•    Adds structural rigidity and ensures a much more efficient and therefore lower cost fabrication process.

•    Proven performance and fully tested, culminating in a UKAS test to BS6375 by the BBA.

•    Extremely good screw retention as shown in comprehensive tests with SFS that covers unreinforced, PVC-U Thermal Inserts and steel reinforcements.
