During December, we relocated all our warehouse operations into a centralised facility on Penny Emma Way, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.

The 256,000sq ft building now holds stock for all Eurocell group companies. Holding all the stock in one location makes much better use of space and helps drive efficiencies through the business, helping us to improve customer service further.

Prior to the move to Penny Emma Way, stock had been warehoused in four separate locations, which added unnecessary complexity to our distribution system.

Moving to the new warehouse has allowed us to invest in the latest picking equipment, which will again improve efficiencies.

As you may imagine, the relocation has been a huge undertaking, involving moving over 475 lorry loads of stock!  Our records indicate that this was achieved with virtually no disruption to customer deliveries, something which we’re justifiably proud of.
