Assisting in managing a team of 3-4 staff, this is a hands-on role involving stock control, trade counter sales, dealing with customers and suppliers, goods-in and despatch and deputising for the branch manager in their absence. Ideally, you’ll have Trade Counter experience within the glazing and building industry and a good knowledge of the Plymouth area. This is a varied role, with the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and excellent career prospects, together with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Administration Assistant / Typist – Alfreton
With around 100 depots Nationwide, 6 manufacturing and distribution sites and over 1000 employees, this is a busy and challenging position.
Reporting to the PA to the Directors, you will provide a valuable copy typing support to our Directors and Sales Team. Whether it’s a letter, a set of minutes or a report, you’ll combine your strong typing skills with the know-how to produce well presented and accurate document every time. As well as other general administration, you’ll occasionally provide reception desk cover. You should be comfortable with Word, Excel and knowledge of PowerPoint and Access would be an advantage.
You will have good telephone skills, an eye for detail and will be used to organising and prioritising your own workload. Much of the time you will be handling confidential and sensitive information, so you will need to be tactful and discreet. You will need to be highly organised and accurate, ideally with experience of a fast moving multi site operation.
Branch Manager - Doncaster
In this hands on role, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day activities associated with a busy merchant from trade counter sales, transport organisation, goods-in and despatch to stock control and administration. You’ll manage a team of 2-3, whilst promoting a winning team culture within the branch. You are likely to have had previous supervisory experience, preferably within the UPVC industry, a pro-active approach to work and be used to working on your own initiative within an operating framework. Ideally, you’ll have a full clean driving licence and a good geographical knowledge of the local area.
Total Quality Manager
This is a demanding role and a superb opportunity for an experienced Total Quality Manager. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will manage the company’s quality management system and champion the concept of quality and business continuous improvements in all areas of manufacture, production, handling and customer service.
You will lead a team responsible for identifying all areas of quality control and specifications and will implement an integrated system in line with international management standards. Your main objective will be to ensure Eurocell remains best in class and leads in quality and customer focus.
You are likely to have a strong background in Total Quality Management with experience of developing and implementing an ISO system. You will have a good understanding of modern manufacturing methods and the ability to manage a team of people.
