Eurocell kits out one of the UK’s largest timber frame companies
Eurocell Building Plastics has demonstrated that the benefits of its branch network are available to all sectors by supplying Robertson Timberkit with a range of PVC-U roofline products.
Robertson Timberkit, one of the UK’s largest timber frame manufacturers, designs, manufactures, supplies and erects timber frame structures, servicing constructions companies, self-builders and national housebuilders across the UK.
The company chose Eurocell because its 100-plus branch network was able to make deliveries direct to site, no matter which part of the country its skilled craftsmen were working in. This coverage extends from the Eurocell branch in Inverness, Scotland down to Torquay in the South-West.
This has proved to be a huge benefit as Robertson Timberkit simply sends a schedule to Eurocell, which then arranges deliveries direct to site from its nearest branch. This allows Robertson craftsmen to concentrate on assembling the timber structure rather than having to worry about sourcing roofline components.
Each Eurocell branch stocks more than 3,800 building plastic products, ensuring customers of excellent service levels. Eurocell manufactures the majority of products offered through its branch network. This gives both companies full control over quality at every stage of the process, as well as ensuring better value for money for customers. All Eurocell roofline products are manufactured in a quality-assured production process and white roofline profiles carry a 20-year guarantee against discolouration, warping and cracking.
“We are delighted with the service and quality we receive from Eurocell,” explains Gary Black, Operations Director at Robertson Timberkit. “Its nationwide branch network means that we get local deliveries whichever part of the country our teams are working and we are fully confident that the deliveries will be there when Eurocell says they will.”
Robertson Timberkit structures allow developers to achieve a weathertight envelope within days. This means work inside the building can begin much sooner than with traditional build methods, as well as creating a much more sustainable development with a smaller carbon footprint. Due to the strength of its engineered timber, the resulting buildings benefit from large, open internal spaces that maximise natural light.
Gary Driscoll, Business Development Manager at Eurocell Building Plastics, says: “Robertson Timberkit has demonstrated that the benefits of sourcing from our branch network extend across all sectors of the market. Timber kit structures really do offer stunning, energy-efficient buildings and we are delighted to be part of their creation.”
