Eurocell offers a Decent service to Campbell-Mason

Eurocell is working successfully with Campbell-Mason Limited, one of the leading window and door installers in the UK, on a major nationwide refurbishment programme – which is part of the Decent Homes initiative. Campbell-Mason surveys and installs windows and doors, along with roofline on over 100 properties each week. It operates more than fourteen installation teams across the country, plus four surveying teams.

Integral to meeting its programme of works on this large number of properties is having local access to the full range of roofline and window trim products from the Eurocell branch nearest to the site they are working on. Eurocell currently has over 95 branches nationwide, enabling Campbell-Mason to source products quickly and conveniently.

The combination of quality products and local availability from Eurocell, combined with Campbell-Mason’s reputation for professionalism on site, has enabled the company to gain a significant amount of new business on Decent Homes programmes across the whole of the UK.

John Park-Davies, Director at Campbell-Mason, explains: “As many of the residents on Decent Homes programmes remain in their properties during the refurbishment, we have to take one window or door out and then immediately fit the replacement before moving onto the next window or door. This requires a huge amount of coordination, not least to ensure our teams have all the products they need, but also in knowing that these are available close to each site, through Eurocell branches.  This convenient service is invaluable.”

A key aspect of many Decent Homes refurbishments is that the properties vary in design and size, which means that the work required on each one is very different. As many local authorities require a rapid turnaround because residents remain in occupation, Campbell-Mason often found that they literally had days between surveying a property and beginning the refurbishment.

John Park-Davies continues: “The huge benefit of Eurocell branches is that they stock a full range of roofline and window trim products, so whatever style, size or colour of house, our installers can always find the item they need. This means that having only a few days between surveying and the work beginning on site is no longer a problem.”
