It is the policy of this company to pursue continuous environmental improvement. We will:

1. Comply with environmental legislation and regulations appropriate to our activities.

2. Continue with our development of 'greener' products which minimise environmental impact whilst minimising optimal use of renewable resources.

3. Seek to influence both our customers and suppliers to adopt a more positive approach to environmental matters

4. Review our environmental performance, including waste minimisation and recovery and re-use of waste wherever practicable.

5. Communicate on the environment with employees, promoting co-operation and good communication at all levels within the company.

6. Implement and maintain an environmental management system in compliance with ISO 14001:2004

Tessenderlo Group Environmental Policy

Tessenderlo Group is an international diversified chemicals group. Protecting the environment is one of the main objectives set out in our Corporate Mission Statement.

As part of the Tessenderlo Group, the PVC-related production facilities (VCM, PVC, Compounds, Plastics Converting) recognise they have an impact on the environment locally as well as globally, as a result of their activities.

Goal:
In relation to this our corporate environmental policy has the following goals:
• Pollution prevention.
• Reduction of emissions.
• Reduction and recycling of waste.
• Conservation of natural resources

Our policy:
We will strive for continuous improvement within the framework of Sustainable Development so we can meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

We believe in a global approach to reach our goals and therefore we have subscribed to several international environmental related policies, namely:
• The Responsible Care Principals
• ECVM Industry Charter for the production of VCM and Suspension PVC
• The voluntary commitment of the PVC industry (Vinyl 2010)

The European Commission has promoted the Voluntary Commitment as one of the best ways to fulfill the principle of Sustainable Development.

Each individual company within our PVC-chain is committed to comply with local legislation and the corporate environmental policy.
