Amber Valley Mayor opens flagship branch
22 February 2016
The flagship branch of Alfreton-based Eurocell, one of the region’s leading businesses, has been officially opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Amber Valley, Councillor Trevor Ainsworth and his wife Jennifer.
At the opening on Thursday 18th February the Mayor performed the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside Eurocell Chief Executive Patrick Bateman.
“It’s a privilege to be asked to open this branch,” said the Mayor. “It’s wonderful to see a business thriving here in Amber Valley providing local employment and contributing to the local economy. Eurocell has come a long way in 40 years and has established itself as a UK company of real stature and this new branch will further contribute to that growth.”
The branch is conveniently situated on Wimsey Way in the Alfreton Trading Estate, which is less than half a mile from the A38 and close to Junction 28 of the M1, providing excellent transport links to the local area.
Commenting on the new flagship branch, regional manager, Jon Oliver, said:” While we have had a presence in Alfreton for some years, we felt it was time to showcase what Eurocell has to offer the trade. This new, larger format environment means we can display many of the exciting products that we have developed. From Skypod skylights to Aspect bi-fold doors, there’s a whole host of ideas to help get the best out of building projects.”
Eurocell manufactures many of the products, so customers gain all the benefits of buying direct.
Opening times are 8.00am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 noon on Saturdays. For details call: 0191 521 1110 or use our Alfreton branch page here.
