Eurocell Helps to Deliver Better Homes at CIH Exhibition
Eurocell will be demonstrating how it can help deliver better homes by showcasing two major new products at this year’s Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) exhibition, at Harrogate between 16 -18 June 2009.Eurocell is the UK’s leading supplier of quality PVC-u window, door and roofline systems and offers a complete building plastics solution. This means it can offer an exact colour match guarantee on PVC-u products across the entire building envelope.
New at this year’s show will be Eurocell’s market leading ‘A’ rated window system, which has a multi-chamber profile design that locks in heat for outstanding thermal performance. Designed to offer better value ‘A’ rated windows, the system achieves a British Fenestration Research Council (BFRC) Energy Index rating of 9, which means it allows a net flow of free heat energy to pass through the window into the property. The system achieves a U value of 1.2 Wm2K, making it one of the best performing double glazed windows in the UK.
Another welcome addition to the range is Eurocell’s new reversible window, which makes cleaning and maintenance of multi-storey buildings quicker, safer and more cost effective. It helps public sector clients meet Working at Height (WAH) and Construction Design and Management (CDM) requirements by allowing safety to be designed into the building. Additional safety features include catches that restrict the aperture and night ventilators that allow fresh air to enter the property even when the window is closed.
Completing Eurocell’s building plastics solutions at this year’s show will be roofline and rainwater systems that are distributed through its network of over 95 branches. Stocking more than 3,800 different products, Eurocell manufactures many of these items in-house ensuring full control over the supply chain, consistent product quality and excellent service levels.
This reputation for reliability helps public sector clients ensure the performance and visual appearance of roofs and rainwater systems on their housing stock. Eurocell’s roofline products, available through its branches, even carry a 20-year guarantee* for colour fastness and offer unbeatable long-life performance.
Sustainability will be a major theme at this year’s show and Eurocell’s ‘A’ rated window system includes components made from 100 per cent recycled PVC-u, demonstrating its commitment to helping customers reduce their environmental impact. Eurocell offers post-consumer PVC-u recycling facilities, giving public sector clients an environmentally-friendly and sustainable method of disposing of end-of-life PVC-u window frames from site.
Eurocell is committed to recycling as much waste as possible from its own manufacturing process and last year alone recycled around 3,000 tonnes of PVC-u. In addition, the company has achieved ISO14001, the internationally recognized standard for environmental performance.
Barry Stone, Commercial Manager, comments: “Our business is growing rapidly in the social housing sector due to our delivery of quality sustainable products and excellent support services. We are looking forward to demonstrating our extensive range of new products at this year’s show.”
