Roofs get Upgraded Through Local Eurocell Depot

A range of Eurocell Building Plastic roofline products was recently specified on a number of homes as part of the Decent Homes refurbishment programme at Brookdale Road in Hartshorne, Derbyshire.

Having recently secured a place on South Derbyshire Council’s approved list of suppliers, Eurocell supplied the products through its local Derby depot, to Bracknell Roofing, which carried out the installation. The proximity of the Eurocell depot provided Bracknell Roofing with easy access to the roofline products specified on this project, including vented soffits and fascias, allowing them to complete a speedy installation on site.

South Derbyshire Council also liked the fact that the Eurocell depot offered local availability of the products, which was crucial to ensuring Bracknell Roofing met the tight build schedules expected on the Decent Homes programme. This enabled residents to return to their properties as soon as the work was completed.

The refurbishments on Hartshorne Road involved replacing the roofline and, in some cases, the whole roof where it had deteriorated beyond repair. The work on this site finished recently and the roofs are now able to withstand the worst that the weather can throw at it.

Pete King, Contracts Manager at Bracknell Roofing, explains: “We had initially enquired about the vented soffits and fascias at the Eurocell Derby depot and liked the fact that our installers could pick up the supplies any time they needed them. Once Eurocell secured a place on the South Derbyshire Council approved list, it really helped on site because our fitters could call into any of its depots whenever we needed more supplies.”

Eurocell has secured a place on the approved list of several local authorities throughout the country. A key strength of the depots is the fact they have full control over the supply chain because the company manufactures the majority of the products it sells, ensuring quicker turnaround of orders, greater reliability of delivery and consistent quality assurance.
