FIT and don't forget!
With this year’s FIT show just around the corner, here’s a reminder about why you should pay us a visit. This year we are on stand D20 where we can promise you not only some exciting new products but also news of a significant initiative for the trade. So make a beeline for our stand the moment you get to the show.
Don’t forget that we are exhibiting four of our most popular ranges – including some great new range additions – namely Skypod, Modus, Dales Collection composite doors and our market-leading conservatory collection.
A real highlight is the new Skypod Acute roof lantern. As the name suggests, it features a steeper pitch of 35 degrees – 15 more than the current Skypod design. The new 35 degree pitch is strikingly different to the standard, making it more suitable for commercial applications such as schools, hospitals and offices, where this pitch is better suited to larger, multi-storey buildings. This market tends to be dominated by aluminium, and the new Skypod provides an aesthetic and cost-effective alternative.
Also on show will be additions to our popular Dales Collection range of composite doors. The three new panel designs – the Elton, Hartington and Newhaven – deliver ‘on trend’ farmhouse and contemporary styles and are complemented by six further glass patterns to further increase choice for the specifier, developer and end-user.
Stand D20 is also host to Modus our high-performance, high aesthetic window system. Featuring a 75mm six-chamber profile system, the Modus range delivers optimum energy efficiency performance and can achieve a U-value as low as 0.7 W/m2K. The first PVC-U window and door system in the UK to offer a 12-year guarantee, Modus casement windows were among the first to be awarded the new A++ WER.
The range also includes Modus S, a mechanically jointed flush sash casement window, which combines modern materials with a truly traditional appearance. The joint detail adds considerable authenticity to the window and enables delivery of a product with the true look of timber, while retaining all the performance benefits of PVC-U. Furthermore, it is up to 25% less expensive than the nearest equivalent PVC-U flush sash product.
Finally, the stand will also show for the first time the company’s brand new additional conservatory range – namely the Lusso internal pelmet and Highline Gutter System. With a striking depth of up to 413mm, the Lusso pelmet combines with the added height and depth of the Highline Gutter to create an on-trend orangery effect from standard components.
We've also got a big announcement that we think could be a game changer for the trade...
Air Ambulance gets a boost from Team Eurocell
Following our announcement last month that we are supporting two charities in 2017, a group of alleged ‘athletes’ – Team Eurocell – have tackled their first fund-raising initiative by completing the Derby 10K on behalf of the local air ambulance.
The team of 10 colleagues – including some quite avowed ‘non-runners’ – not only all finished the course, but also won the event trophy for being the most successful fundraiser of all the business teams taking part. With company contributions combined with individual efforts, total monies raised for charity amounted to £5000.
The Derby 10K is an annual road running event held every April and organised by Derbyshire charity Sporting Futures. Over 3500 runners took part in the race, which starts outside Pride Park Stadium, the home of Derby County Football Club.
The Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) is Eurocell’s own local airborne paramedic service. Two regional air ambulances fly across the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland; and also provide cover for its sister service: the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. These two helicopters provide a rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies over an area of 3850 square miles and cover many of the UK’s major roads including the M1, M6, M69 and M42.
With each DLRAA mission costing £1700, Team Eurocell is close to funding three launches from the 10K alone – and that is with donations still coming in.
Anyone considering contributing to Team Eurocell and the DLRAA, can make their donation here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/eurocell
More branches in May
Torquay, the jewel of the English Riviera, has a new attraction; yes, it’s our latest Eurocell branch! The new outlet, which is located on the Broomhill Way Industrial Estate, opened its doors for business at the end of April and gives customers working in the South West even more options to profit from our branch network which includes nearby branches in Newton Abbot, Exeter and Plymouth.
For customers based around Milton Keynes, the good news is that you now have a second branch to call on. The Milton Keynes North branch started trading at the beginning of the month and joins the existing Milton Keynes outlet in offering a great service and over 4,000 products at competitive prices. Based on the Canons Road Industrial Estate in Old Wolverton, the new branch brings the total of Eurocell outlets to four in the region including those in Northampton and Bedford.
If you live in the Newbury area then look out for a new Eurocell branch opening in the town very soon. Remember you can find details of these branches and other branches by visiting www.eurocell.co.uk/branchfinder.
New branch format impresses customers
In case you haven’t noticed we are bringing a brand new look and feel to our expanding network of branches. And in part it’s down to you, the customer, who’s helped us decide what needed to be done!
The revamped format will improve the customer experience, with better use of space, product categories clearly displayed and a consistent layout so that whichever branch you visit you will be able to find what you’re looking for quickly and easily.
With over 250 new lines recently added to our already comprehensive product range, we felt we needed to ensure that our point-of-sale material was both relevant and informative. So you will now see displays of our major product lines with associated accessories, giving you the full picture and cutting out the guesswork.
As part of our brief to give you a better branch experience we have taken your advice and ensured that more product literature will be available for you to take away including the latest edition of our product catalogue.
Currently 10 branches feature the new look but we are looking to refurbish more branches over time. So if you happen to visit one of the new branches why not let us know what you think via social media? We’re keen to find out what your views are.
