Made entirely from recycled PVC-U from the Eurocell manufacturing process, these advanced inserts are the sustainable way for fabricators to produce higher performance windows more efficiently.

Why choose PVC-U thermal window inserts?

By choosing PVC-U over metal alternatives, fabricators can save time in the fabrication process because sashes, transoms/mullions can be mitered and welded into the frame for faster, more efficient production, whilst adding structural rigidity. Traditional steel and aluminium reinforcements require a separate cutting operation before being inserted into profiles. The result is improved efficiency.

Manufactured from 100% recycled material, PVC-U thermal inserts are the environmentally responsible way to reinforce your window profiles. Furthermore, using inserts means that the entire window frame is recyclable – making it quicker and easier to re-use windows at their end of life.

Eurocell UPVC thermal inserts have been tested by the BBA to BS EN6375 and have achieved impressive results. Tests showed that casement windows can be fabricated up to a maximum height of 1500mm and 750mm wide for a single side-hung window – a large increase over the previous maximum possible without the use of steel or aluminium reinforcements.

Thermal inserts are available for Eurocell Eurologik chamfered and ovolo systems.
