Eurocell Grey Roofline Tops It Off In Dudley
A project to build the first council homes in the Dudley borough for 20 years is benefitting from Eurocell Grey soffits and fascia.
Mansell Construction Services Ltd is carrying out the work on behalf of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
The development consists of 12 properties at Blackthorn Road, Wordsley and 6 properties at Tenacre Lane, Upper Gornal, and includes a mix of two and three bedroom homes.
Dudley Council was awarded £4.3 million from the government's Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to build a total of 72 homes across five sites in the borough, and the two schemes supplied by Eurocell form part of this.
Grey PVC-U soffits and fascia from Eurocell were selected by Mansell because they provided a match to the grey windows being installed on both developments, which helped retain the contemporary colour scheme chosen for the properties.
Simon Liversage, Head of Partnership Housing at Mansell, said: “We presented Eurocell with a sample of the grey used for the windows and they were able to identify a match for the fascia and soffits. The quality of the product and service provided by Eurocell has been excellent.”
The Grey fascia and vented soffits were supplied by the Eurocell Building Plastics branch in West Bromwich. The products are delivered by the branch on plot call-off.
“These properties are built to a very high specification and we are delighted that our Grey fascia and soffit was used for the roofline,” said Gary Driscoll, Eurocell Head of Business Development. “We are confident that they will provide a long term, low maintenance solution for the Council.”

The much-needed new homes for Dudley Council are of a high quality and for a range of different housing needs, including supporting people in the borough with learning disabilities.
