Bradbourne in Anthracite Grey - Yorkshire
When the Hinchliffe family of Yorkshire realised it was time to update their tired old UPVC front door, they decided on a beautiful composite door from The Dales Collection. The style they chose, a Bradbourne in Anthracite Grey, with satin silver furniture and lattice glass, fitted perfectly with their 1970s Georgian-style detached house. Here Steve Hinchliffe explains why a Dales Collection composite door was the obvious choice for their home.
When we asked about the process of choosing their new door, this is what Steve had to say:
“When we looked around the Eurocell composite door the quality of the finish was excellent. We had an old UPVC door prior to that and we felt that the installation wasn’t good. But now it’s perfect.
We went to several websites looking at designs and styles we wanted, narrowing it down to the quality of the Eurocell composite door. Then we went into our local Eurocell branch to choose the furnishings, the glass style, the door handles, the letterbox and the knocker, and we’re highly delighted with the end product.
It looks traditional, its got the quality of a traditional door and the choice of colours was excellent.
Now, it’s much warmer, there are no drafts, which we used to suffer and it’s a lot quieter too!
What we like most about the door is its overall appearance, how it looks now that it's set into the house. Also the quality of the door and its heat retention because we used to suffer cool drafts through the old UPVC door.
We would definitely recommend a Dales Collection composite door. It’s everything we were looking for in a front door, completing the look of our property.”
