Eurocell announce title sponsorship deal with Ryan Faulconbridge Racing

Ryan Faulconbridge Racing (RFR) will race into the 2020 MINI Challenge with a new title partner and striking livery on his John Cooper Works MINI after Ryan confirmed a major sponsorship deal with the UK's market-leading UPVC manufacturer, distributor and recycler, Eurocell.

With unprecedented levels of guaranteed national television coverage from ITV, reaching over 19 million viewers, the MINI Challenge provides one of motorsport’s most addictive, action-packed atmospheres for an audience of millions. Eurocell is positioning its brand for growth, using motorsport to target customers who otherwise might have not been aware of the expert advice and huge choice of over 10,000 top quality UPVC products and accessories. The sponsorship investment makes this brand exposure possible and provides new ways to help Eurocell Building Products network, which is already at an impressive 206 branches, grow its relationships with current and future customers.

The MINI Challenge will be a support series to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) which is the pinnacle of British motorsport. It is one of the best-loved, most illustrious, and famous motor racing championships in the world. Only Formula 1 and America’s NASCAR stock car series have longer histories.

Throughout 2020 Eurocell will show our support for the promising talent that is Ryan Faulconbridge, which aligns with our business goals, following the launch of our trade supplier apprenticeship scheme this year. It uniquely combines training in both the branch warehouse and the trade counter, together with a strong focus on identifying and managing customer needs.

RFR – who is graduating from the Ford Fiesta Championship where he was a multiple race winner - is braced for an inaugural season in the MINI Championship, which boasts a full grid of 33 cars and an impressively competitive driver line-up.

Sporting Eurocell’s distinctive colour across the whole of the MINI, with the unmistakable logo being displayed on all 4 angles of the car, along with it featuring prominently on the race suit and helmet. 25-year-old Mansfield-born racer Faulconbridge is heading into the forthcoming campaign looking to compete for the Rookie Honours, which is for drivers in their first full championship season.

We recently spoke to Ryan, “I’m delighted to be joining the MINI grid with Eurocell’s backing and am truly grateful that they have seen the commercial benefits in the partnership. I am running with LUX Motorsport for my first season in the MINI Challenge, the team have an abundance of excellent technical knowledge, to give me the best possible support. I am really looking forward to entering such a high-profile paddock and supporting the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). This also allows for fantastic exposure for my 2020 partners with it being the most-watched championship in the UK.

Andy McDonnell MD of Eurocell added “I’m delighted Eurocell have the opportunity to support, Ryan in his first Mini Challenge season. Ryan is a highly valued member of the team, he puts his heart and soul into his role with the company and his racing, so we are all really excited to see what he can achieve this year. We wish him all the very best in the up and coming season!”
