As MP opens flagship showroom

Alfreton-based Eurocell plc, the UK’s leading manufacturer, distributor and recycler of PVC-U window, door, conservatory and roofline systems, has today unveiled growth plans and potential employment opportunities in the local area as it welcomed local MP Nigel Mills to open its new showroom.

The showroom for trade customers, is located at the company’s headquarters and forms part of Eurocell’s expansion strategy, to display its full product range, including the innovative Modus window system, Equinox solid conservatory and Skypod lantern roofs, Aspect bi-folding doors and a large range of roofing products.

Commenting on growth Chris Coxon, Head of Marketing at Eurocell, said: "Eurocell has an extensive product range encompassing windows, doors, conservatories, roofline and outdoor living products. We needed a showroom that would highlight just how many products we have in our portfolio and our latest investment does just that.

“The company has been based in Alfreton for over 25 years and is committed to providing jobs to local people. We bring as many processes as possible in-house, rather than outsourcing overseas or to other parts of the UK, to further increase jobs within the area. Over the past 12 months our Alfreton-based staff has increased by 6 per cent. We are very pleased that Nigel has welcomed our investment, and look forward to further expansion of our workforce as we execute our growth strategy over the coming months.”

Nigel Mills, Member of Parliament for Amber Valley, added: “The East Midlands is a hub for manufacturing in the UK and we are very proud to have companies the size of Eurocell within the area. The business is clearly committed to creating job opportunities for the local community and has invested in this heavily. The work carried out at Eurocell’s four sites in and around Alfreton is a prime example of the innovation coming out of the area and I would encourage anyone with an interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing to consider Eurocell as an employer.”
