Now there are two sides to the Charisma Story
For many years the only option available to create a vertical sliding window in two different colour finishes was to mask and spray each window individually. The issue focussed around the outerframe. The sashes, cill, interlock, and beads can be foiled one face easily but on the outerframe there are areas which need to change colour not only halfway up the jambs but also from the inside to out on the head.
At Eurocell, we have now designed a trim and a brushpile that allows this to become reality.
On the finished frame the central portion between each balance track needs to change from the foil colour to white halfway up where the sashes meet and along the head of the frame. To do this the central portion is first foiled this means that halfway up the jambs and along the head the foil colour would be visible from the inside. This needs to be white. This visible foil is covered by a white L shaped trim which is double sided in position to give the effect that the central portion has been extruded in white.
In addition, the outside balance track from halfway down the jamb to the cill intersection needs to match the foil colour. This will be extruded white. To overcome this a black brush pile is inserted into the slots on the balance track which hides the white track internals.
From 14th March 2022, 2 new colour options will be available to order including Anthracite Grey on White and Cream on White.
The Charisma range is a perfect solution for capturing the classic, stylish looks of Georgian sliding windows, without the associated risks of draughts and poor security.
Vertical sliders may have a traditional look, but energy efficiency performance could not be more up to date – offering exceptional energy efficiency and draught-proofing for A+rated performance.
