Eurocell Wins Bloor Homes Account
Eurocell Building Plastics is celebrating another new business win after being awarded the contract to supply Bloor Homes with its range of building plastics products.
The deal includes PVC-U roofline products such as fascia, soffit and capping boards, as well as a range of window finishing trims.
The Bloor Group is one of the largest privately owned housebuilding groups in the UK, as well as being the latest company to recognise the benefits of partnering with Eurocell.
The Bloor Homes house building operation is managed through eight regional companies and the deal will mean that each of its developments will receive deliveries direct to site from the nearest Eurocell branch.
Eurocell has more than 100 branches throughout the UK, which means that each delivery to a Bloor Homes development is never more than a few miles. This will ensure quicker deliveries to site – next day where required – as well as helping Bloor Homes minimise its carbon footprint with a localised supply chain.
Following an in-depth evaluation, Bloor Homes calculated that by using the Eurocell branch network it would save a huge amount of time in sourcing building plastics products. Partnering with a supplier that offers a full range of roofline products, along with 3,800 other building plastics products, also means perfect colour matching of components on every property.
“When we analysed the benefits of partnering from Eurocell, we found that it made a huge difference to our sourcing operations,” said a spokesperson from Bloor Homes’ procurement team. “Eurocell was able to provide us with a wide range of quality products, backed up by market leading service and for us that is essential in maintaining efficiency and quality levels on site."
Eurocell’s ability to manufacture the majority of the 3,800 products stocked in each branch ensures customers receive quality products, excellent service and real value for money.
