How Eurocell Goes Further to Protect Your Customers
This October, we’re supporting National Home Security Month, the only national consumer awareness month dedicated to improving the understanding around home security.
Keeping their home secure is a definite need from consumers when getting their windows and doors replaced. Plus, it’s one of the questions asked when renewing or taking out home insurance.
They’ll have a variety of questions so it’s vital that you can explain what security standards are being met by the products that you install.
To help keep you on top of your game and to provide you with all of the information you need to reassure your customers, we’ve provided a quick overview of why our range of doors and windows will provide your customers with a secure home as well as beautiful aesthetics!
The first port of call for a burglar is usually a lock cylinder – so we’ve made sure that every one of our doors features a high security 3-star cylinder to protect your customers against the most common forms of attack.

These cylinders are designed to defend against bumping, picking and drilling, along with providing significant resistance to lock-snapping – one of the most commonly used entry methods by burglars.
We’ve also reinforced the locking points on each of our composite doors with a 5-point system that features two hooks and three deadbolts fixed into the frame, providing excellent resistance against intruders.
In addition, the entire doorset meets the stringent PAS24:2016 rating which, along with the 3-star cylinders and multiple deadbolts, creates a safe and secure solution for your customers.
Whilst doors are the most common entry method for burglars, it’s also important to install high security windows to fully protect a home.

Every Eurocell window comes with a locking handle as standard, providing an extra layer of security for your customers without making opening or closing the windows any more difficult than normal.
To protect against other forms of intrusion through windows, all of our range feature internal beading. By designing our range with this feature, it eliminates the ability to remove the beading and gain entry by removing the pane of glass for any opportunistic thieves.
Finally, we ensure that all of our windows are tested to BS6375-3:2009, the UK-recognised standard for security on window systems as developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI).
No matter the product, at Eurocell, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance our security features, to provide better products for both you and your customers.
