See our video case study on our Coastline cladding

We recently enjoyed a visit to a beautiful home in Bristol. Kara has used our Coastline composite cladding during her terraced house's renovation to give it a contemporary finish that will last with virtually no maintenance needed - unlike timber cladding.

We love how much the anthracite grey cladding has transformed the house to really stand out from the crowd! Thank you again to Kara for allowing us into her lovely home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you deliver external cladding?
We can deliver your cladding order anywhere in mainland UK. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, or Isle of Mann.
I need my cladding boards quickly. Can I collect them?
Yes, you can collect your external cladding order from any of Eurocell’s 215+ nationwide branches. Use our branch finder tool to find the nearest location to you.
How do I install external cladding?
All our different ranges of external cladding have been designed to be both quick and easy to install. Clip-together fitting systems and lightweight constructions help to make our cladding boards easy to handle and simple to install.
Are Eurocell cladding boards guaranteed?
Yes, all external cladding boards from Eurocell are guaranteed for up to 25 years. Durability and weather resistance are two of the most important factors when our designers are producing UPVC cladding boards.
Is external cladding safe?
Yes, all Eurocell external cladding boards are manufactured to the highest possible UK standards. They are guaranteed for up to 25 years.
What are the practical advantages of installing UPVC cladding on a home?
Generally speaking, external UPVC cladding won’t directly insulate a home. It will, however, keep external walls dry when it is applied to traditional masonry construction. And research has shown that dry walls have significantly better thermal performance than wet walls. In fact, a dry wall can provide up to 25% energy savings compared to a wet wall. UPVC is also a great option for dealing with the UK’s mixed weather conditions. It is long-lasting and does not warp, twist, shrink, swell or rot, so it is ideal for coping with the British elements. Compared to traditional timber, it also requires significantly less maintenance.
What are the physical attributes of UPVC that make it such an ideal cladding solution?
UPVC cladding is extruded from hugely stable raw materials that give it its longevity and consistent performance characteristics. Enhancements in UPVC extrusion technology over the past 50 years mean that colour fastness is BBA accredited for at least 20 years, as is its structural integrity. Beyond its low-maintenance longevity, it resembles timber in terms of installation: it can be sawn, drilled and screwed in the same way as any old-fashioned materials. No special fixings are needed, and so it proves easy to install and delivers the same high quality aesthetic of traditional cladding products. The surface finish – which can be white or wood effect as desired – is highly durable, avoiding the colour and UV degradation that painted timber can face. Installing UPVC cladding also relieves the homeowner of the arduous and potentially risky chore of re-decorating at height.
Does PVC-U cladding need to be chemically treated with anything when it’s installed?
No, not at all. UPVC cladding is delivered to site straight from the factory, and other than cutting to size to install it requires no further treatment or decoration.
Does UPVC cladding require any on-going maintenance?
Only cleaning. This can be done with a pressure washer, which - unlike with timber cladding - won’t damage the decorative finish nor the material.
What kind of starting cost, per m2, can I expect to pay for UPVC cladding?
Roughly £35 per m2 (including VAT) for supply only.
What kind of service life can homeowners expect to get from UPVC cladding?
Eurocell UPVC shiplap cladding is BBA certified for a service life of at least 20 years. In reality, the lifespan should be much longer than this. Better still, UPVC is a highly sustainable product that is robust enough to be recycled up to 10 times without quality or performance deteriorating. At our recycling plant in Derbyshire, we process up to 12,000 old window frames a week – and are able to use almost 100% of our production waste. By contrast, painted timber is only good for landfill when it comes to the end of its useful life.
