Eco Composite Fencing Kit
How to build your Eco fencing Kit
Follow our step-by-step guide to build your fencing kit, everything you need for your Eco fencing project.
STEP 1 - Fence Panel Colour
Choose your desired fence panel colour, we have 3 options available;
Grey

Natural

Walnut

STEP 2 - Select your fence panel size (Width & Height)
Choose your desired fence panel size for your project, and we'll take care of how many Fence panels you'll need.
Fence Panel Width
Eurocell’s Eco Fence panels are available in two width options: 6ft and 8ft, allowing flexibility based on your garden size and layout.
6ft panels (1.8m) - STANDARD UK SIZE - are ideal for standard UK garden fencing, offering a traditional look and easier handling during installation. They're great for smaller spaces or where more posts are needed for added strength. Also ideal if you are retrofitting to existing concrete posts.
8ft panels (2.4m) - cover a larger span with fewer posts, making them a cost-effective and time-saving option for bigger gardens or long boundary runs.
Choosing between them depends on your garden dimensions, desired look, and installation preferences.
Fence Panel Height
When choosing the height of your fence with Eurocell Eco Fencing, you can select in 1ft increments from 1ft to 8ft, offering full flexibility for different needs:
1ft–3ft (0.3m - 0.9m): Ideal for decorative borders or low-level boundary markers, perfect for front gardens or separating areas without blocking views.
4ft–5ft (1.2m - 1.5m): A popular choice for creating a clear boundary while maintaining an open feel - great for pet containment or suburban privacy.
6ft–8ft (1.8m - 2.4m*): Best for privacy and security, especially in back gardens or areas requiring noise reduction and added seclusion.
*Note: In most cases, you don't need planning permission for a garden fence up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) in height. iI you plan to install a fence that exceeds this height or if there are other restrictions in your area, you might need to apply for planning permission.
STEP 3 - Do you require Fence posts?
Would you like matching Eco Fence Posts with your fence panels for a seamless look? If so, make sure you select them in this section. By default, the matching post colour to your panel choice will be automatically selected.
If not, no problem—our panels are designed to retrofit easily into existing concrete posts, giving you flexibility without needing a full replacement.
Note: Our posts are supplied in 9ft (2.7m), 8ft (2.4m), or 6ft (1.8m) height. They will need to be cut down to the required height.
STEP 4 - Fixing methods
Note: This is only relevant if you are planning on installing new eco fence posts as part of your fencing project.
There are two main methods for installing fence posts: above ground or sunken below ground with concrete, and the choice affects the length of the post needed.
Above Ground Fixing: Posts are attached to metal post supports or brackets fixed to a solid surface (like concrete or decking). This method is quicker and avoids digging, but offers less structural stability—best for lower fences or decorative purposes.
Sunken Below Ground: Posts are set into the ground and secured with concrete for maximum strength and durability. This is ideal for taller fences or areas exposed to wind and heavy use.
We need to know which method you're using so we can supply the correct post length.
STEP 5 - OPTIONAL Fencing Accessories
Finally, in addition to the fencing kit, add on any extra accessories you might need to complete your fencing project:
Utility Strips:
A versatile accessory designed to help you create a 90-degree angle from a fence post, perfect for forming neat corners in your fencing layout.
When installed, the Utility Strip attaches to the side of a standard Eco Fence Post, allowing a fence panel to slot in at a right angle to the main fence run. This means you can use just one post at a corner instead of two, which not only reduces cost and installation time but also gives a cleaner, more streamlined appearance. It’s especially useful in square or rectangular gardens where multiple corners are needed, and helps maintain strength and alignment without compromising the overall look.
Anti-Theft Clips:
Designed to lock fence panels in place within the posts, preventing them from being lifted out or stolen. Ideal for added security in public or vulnerable areas.
