What is a veranda made from?
Eurocell verandas are made from either glass or polycarbonate. They are available in 15 different sizes and seven colours.
What are pergolas made from?
All Eurocell pergolas are made from aluminium, which makes them a great option for someone looking to make a long-term investment. They require less maintenance than wooden alternatives and are likely to stay in place without any problems for the rest of your lifetime.
Do pergolas provide shade?
Yes. On the Oasis Standard pergola, a fixed rotating louvre roof offers control over light, shade and airflow. A retractable roof provides even more options on the Oasis Deluxe pergola.
How long do garden rooms last?
All our garden rooms come with a minimum 10-year guarantee. With good care and maintenance, there is no reason why a garden room cannot last for several decades.
Does a veranda need planning permission?
If your veranda is under 3m in height, covers less than half of the land of the original property, and is not located on your roof, then you have good news: you almost certainly do not need planning permission for your veranda.
Do pergolas need planning permission?
In most instances, no. You do not normally need planning permission for a pergola. However, a pergola must not cover more than half of your land, it should be no taller than 2.5m (if situated within 2m of the boundary), and you will always need permission if your building is listed.
Do garden rooms add value to a property?
Yes, without doubt. A stunning new garden room looks great in any garden. But more importantly, they provide important extra space – whether that’s for a home gym, home office, or even just somewhere to kick back and relax. A garden room from Eurocell will almost certainly add value to your property.

What is a veranda?
A veranda is a covered outdoor area attached to a building. Normally, it consists of a roof that is joined directly to the side of the building, with the veranda floor aligned with the ground floor of the property. Some kind of railings or barrier may also be erected to enclose the space, although this is not compulsory.
