What products are available to installers? Eurocell is unique in the industry for offering both window and door profiles alongside a range of over 4,000 quality building plastics products through its 125-plus branch network. This gives installers a one-stop-shop and because the company manufactures many of the products offered in the branch, it can guarantee a perfect colour-match across components. There are also all the value for money, quality and service benefits of buying direct from the manufacturer. Branches also offer The Dales Collection of composite doors. Last year Eurocell re-launched the range with better security, better sustainability and better aesthetics, resulting in better sales. There is a choice of market-leading rooflights in branches too and these increase the comfort of buildings and are fully compliant with Building Regulations.
The recent introduction of Lusso orangery-style conservatory roofs in branches gives installers another option and the range is available with subtle HD (High Definition) LED downlighting kits to create an ambient environment. Eurocell roof kits for 2013 are available in a wider choice of colours, including Grey on white, Black on white, Irish Oak, Chartwell Green and Cream.
Another opportunity in development is for installers to source windows from Eurocell branches. The company is currently running regional trials in the North-East and North-West. The trials partner Eurocell fabricators with their local branches, to supply consistent quality Eurocell products. Offering windows is the last piece in the one-stop-shop jigsaw for installers.
Behind all this, Eurocell continues to benefit from the backing of parent company Tessenderlo, with over £4m invested in the business since 2011.
Comment on the products and services you offer
A recent new product developed specifically for installers and offered through all Eurocell branches is Equinox, the advanced tiled roof system suitable for new build or refurbishment projects. This latest addition to the range of kits creates a new replacement roofs market for installers by providing an effective method of making a room such as a conservatory comfortable all year-round. Delivering this benefit is in high demand from consumers.
The tiled roof system is able to do this because it has solid insulation panels integrated in the structure to achieve a U-value of 0.15, which comfortably exceeds current Building Regulations requirements.
Equinox is an effective method of upgrading the energy efficiency performance of conservatory roofs, where the fully insulated system is commonly used to replace ageing original glass or polycarbonate. Equinox can be fitted on double hipped, gable, Edwardian, Victorian and P-shaped conservatories as well as new projects such as house extensions. Tiles are available in a wide choice of colours. In these situations it transforms existing roofs to provide a cosy all year-round living space, minimise weather noise and enable an architectural interior finish to be created.

Comment on the market and current trends
2013 has been very positive so far for Eurocell, with sales well ahead of 2012. This means that our installer customers are also managing to secure more work. There is evidence that people are finding it easier to buy a new house. Government schemes such as ‘Help to Buy’ are assisting developers to sell more and therefore they are starting to build more to keep up with demand. This has a knock-on effect further up the housing ladder.
We expect 2013 to continue to be strong for Eurocell, buoyed by Equinox and other new products being readied for launch, combined with more online service developments.
