Variable Jacks Make Conservatories More Versatile
23 April 2007
Conservatory roof and bay window installation has never been easier, thanks to the new range of bay jacks and variable pole trim systems released by Eurocell.
The two systems have been designed to make installation quicker and easier. We wanted to bring the bay jacks and bay poles in line with the latest regulations, to make it easier for our fabricators to comply with legislation as well as saving them time on site.
The new jacks, which are designed to suit all fixed and variable poles, provide a fast and reliable method of erecting conservatory roofs whilst making it easier for fabricators to comply with the latest Building Regulations Approved Document A: Structure. In addition, the new bay jacks are also fully compliant with FENSA recommendations.
Manufactured from stainless steel and aluminium, the bay jacks ensure a long and corrosion-free life. It also enables quick and simple installation as it avoids the need to coat the ends of the poles as they offer corrosion resistant.
Eurocell’s bay jacks are available as a complete range, comprising one variable and three fixed angles at 90, 135 and 150 degrees and they are designed to fit most window systems in the market.
The bay jack is provided in kit form and comprises a base, capstan and a top spreader plate giving the installer a quick and easy solution for bay windows and conservatories with tiled or glass roofs that require additional support.
The base plate is also supplied with fixing holes which allow secure fixing to the brick work. The aluminium bay pole is available in 6m lengths, including a circular pole for variable angles between 120 – 170 degrees, a square bay pole for square bay windows and conservatories and two triangular poles for 135 and 150 degrees fixed angles.
The bay jack system is complemented by a new variable pole trim system. Offered in white, Golden Oak and Rosewood, the external trim offers reduced sight lines, which significantly improves aesthetic appearance of current 135, 150 degree and variable corner posts.
The internal trim is available in the same finishes and is again designed with improved sight lines. The variable pole trim system is fitted externally and internally to the bay pole using an easy to fit ‘clip on’ system. The range also includes a 70mm and 60mm variable bay pole adaptor, which is currently available in white only.
The bay jack and variable pole system strengthen Eurocell’s commitment to provide fabricators with a single source supply route for PVC-u window, door, conservatory and roofline systems. ***The bay jack and variable bay pole system is available for immediate ordering.
