Good looks, great security – the updated Dales Collection
Our Dales Collection is an immensely popular range of composite doors but that hasn’t stopped us from making some improvements to make them even better. So from January next year we will be introducing three new styles – the Elton, Hartington and Newhaven. Six new glass styles will be available to further increase choice for the customer.
The improvements don’t stop there. With security and peace of mind very much on the agenda we have introduced some modifications that address those concerns. These modifications mean that our new range are now Document Q compliant and come with BM TRADA Q-Mark certification.
For a start we have increased the outer skin GRP thickness from 2mm to 4mm across the entire range, introduced a new 5-hook design door lock that secures the panel tighter in the frame and fitted Tri-Sis glazing cassettes that can be deglazed internally without damaging the door or affecting its security performance. So rest assured that any Dales door you’ll install will mean a safer, quieter and more secure home.
However good these changes are, we are never satisfied until we have tested them to the limits. So we have subjected this new range to six months of rigorous testing to ensure that it achieves PAS 24:2016 accreditation, which includes the PAS 24:2016 ‘Cut Through’ test.
So if you’re looking for both style and security in 2017 take a look at the updated range of the Dales Collection, you won’t be disappointed!

Dublin’s second branch about to go live
The Eurocell network in Ireland is expanding with the second Dublin branch about to open at the Airways Industrial Estate. As the name suggests, the new branch is right next to Dublin Airport and easily accessible, as it is at the junction of two major roads: The M1 linking Belfast and Dublin; and the M50, the Dublin ring road that links the city to the rest of Ireland.
The branch has an extensive showroom coupled with substantial storage and plenty of space to park. Alongside the building plastics products that are a staple of Eurocell branches, the depot will showcase products such as the Equinox and Skypod roofing systems, together with windows and doors and their accessories.
The idea, according to Area Manager Brian Lynch, is that Eurocell customers can use the branch as a sales aid.
“Many of our core customers are one man and a van. They don’t have offices, they don’t have showrooms and they work from job to job, so we need to act as their showroom and not just a trade counter,” he says. “Installers can send their own customers up to the branch so they can see what the product looks like – whether it is a particular model of window or a roofing system such as Equinox – and so make the sale.”
Staff at the latest branch will include Gerard Singleton, who is moving across from our existing branch in Dublin South, and our latest recruit, Ronald Marconi.
Interior cladding brings style to the bathroom
To bring something a bit different to internal décor projects we have enhanced the number of colours available for our time-saving range of interior panels.
We now offer three new colours in the range of Plastivan Cascade décor cladding – pearlescent black, pearlescent white and travertine. Internal décor cladding is ideal for installation within a bathroom or wet room environment, with larger format 1m wide boards for quick and easy installation.
We have also extended our internal décor cladding range and now offer IDS Proplas 8mm decorative cladding. These wall and ceiling panels provide a stylish alternative to methods of decoration such as tiles or paint. With nine popular decors to choose from, each pattern and texture has been designed to create affordable luxury in your customer’s home.
Quick and easy to install, these hard-wearing panels can be installed directly over existing tilling or Artex and are hygienic, easy to clean and virtually maintenance free while the tongue and groove jointing provides a seamless finish.
We're pleased to say that after a comprehensive survey of all Eurocell staff, we have chosen two deserving charities to support throughout 2017.
We'll announce both the local and national charity we'll be supporting very soon!
The official launch date for SlateSkin will be confirmed shortly.
The product will be available in Equinox kits to existing Equinox customers.
Stay tuned for more updates.
