EBP Pricing Updates

Dear Customer,

I'm writing to inform you of our price increase for 2024. Although raising prices is never an easy choice, these continue to be difficult times for all of us, and the effects of cost inflation are still being felt.

Challenges In Our Market

Although we have seen a stabilisation of rising resin prices, industrial inflation remains high and electricity prices remain double what they were in 2021. UK and Ireland wage inflation for regular pay was at 7.8% in June to August – matching the previous period as the highest regular annual growth rate since comparable records began.

Fiscal policy has negatively impacted consumer confidence with the Bank of England maintaining a 5.25% interest rate in November (still at highest level since 2008) and indicating that interest rates will either remain high for longer or will continue to rise further (source: Bank of England, Nov 2023).

Price increases from 1st March 2024:

We appreciate that this is not an ideal situation, but rest assured that we have been working hard to negotiate with suppliers to make every effort not to pass on all cost increases to you.

The price of the following products will be increased from 1st March 2024:

PVC manufactured products:             5%
