The VELUX standard tile flashing is a versatile option, designed for installing a roof window into various types of profiled or flat roof materials.
The VELUX standard tile flashing is ideal for fitting a roof window into profiled or flat roof materials such as interlocking slate, corrugated sheeting, and thatch roofs with a maximum profile of 120mm. It is suitable for roof pitches ranging from 15° to 90°, providing flexibility for various roof styles.
For standard installation heights, the brackets can be installed at the bottom and top of the window frame, in alignment with the red line, ensuring a proper and secure fit. This flashing also features a BFX underfelt collar, providing a weather tight finish and effective rainwater drainage. The collar is fitted between the roof covering and the window, resulting in a sleek and seamless appearance.
Additionally, the BDX insulation collar plays a crucial role in eliminating cold bridges and reducing heat loss by insulating around the roof window frame, enhancing the window's energy efficiency.
