Fitted on the timber rafters, this 20mm wide one-sided tape minimises the effects of thermal expansion, enhancing performance and comfort. Changes in temperature can cause significant expansion and contraction of roofing materials, which can create friction and noisy creaking. Foam tape acts as a flexible gasket between the two, allowing free movement without noise.
