Making Space with Kyube Garden Room
The Matchett family wanted a space outside of the house where they could enjoy doing some exercise and leisure activities, such as practicing singing and spending time with their children.
Their plan was to create a space outside of the home but didn’t want to convert into the garage. As a result, they choose to install a garden room.

When choosing their Kyube Garden Room, the Matchett’s knew exactly where in the garden they wanted it to be positioned. They explored the Eurocell website to select the dimensions, door layout, design and specification of their chosen garden room. After looking through each option to see what would best suit the family’s needs, they were able to create a bespoke garden room for their family.
The family wanted light to enter the garden room from two directions, which was possible with the flexibility from Eurocell. An additional side window was added to the build, to help flood the space with natural light, a stunning addition to the Matchett’s garden room.
“We used the Eurocell website to go through and look at the specifications we could fit in - the sizes, dimensions, door layouts, the fit and the finishes that we wanted to have to make the garden room work for us.”
Once all the final decisions were made on the size, the external cladding colour, door type and internal fittings, the installation of the garden room was arranged. Throughout the lead up of the installation of the garden room, Eurocell kept in touch with the family, ensuring they knew what was happening every step of the way.
Over the past 18 months situations changed due to the pandemic and the Matchett’s started to work from home. And so, the use of the garden room changed, and the space became a practical garden office.
The room was redesigned to be somewhere both James and Emilia Matchett could work from, an office space which was separate from their family home. With internet connected and plug sockets already in place, their garden office wasall set up and ready to use.
The ideal space for an office, the Eurocell Kyube Garden Room range is well insulated, so it can be used throughout the colder winter months. And with patio doors fitted, like those chosen by the Matchett’s, the doors can be opened up to allow regular air flow through the garden room.
