Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between composite and upvc doors?
The difference between composite doors and uPVC doors is based on how they are manufactured. uPVC doors are made purely with plastic. In contrast, composite doors are made from a combination of different materials. Glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) is one of the most long-lasting and durable material combinations. Eurocell uses GRP to manufacture its composite doors.
Why should I get a uPVC door?
uPVC doors from Eurocell are strong, energy efficient, durable, easy to clean, and quick to install. They are also a sustainable choice, with Eurocell’s closed-loop recycling system helping to reuse uPVC up to 10 times. uPVC doors can be made to accommodate most door sizes and they can normally be fitted in just a single day, meaning your home remains secure throughout the process of fitting your new door.
Are Eurocell uPVC doors guaranteed?
Yes, all uPVC doors from Eurocell come with at least a 10-year guarantee, giving you peace of mind about the durability and quality of your chosen door.
How are UPVC windows fitted?
UPVC windows should only ever be fitted by an experienced professional. A poor installation can lead to windows that don’t work properly and make your property look tired and unloved. Eurocell has a dedicated network of approved installers operating across the UK. Contact us for more details.
How long do PVC-U windows last?
Investing in UPVC windows is a prudent, long-term decision. All of our Eurocell UPVC windows come with a minimum 10-year guarantee. Some ranges have an even longer guarantee! So whichever UPVC windows you choose, you can enjoy long-lasting peace of mind.
How are UPVC windows made?
Eurocell UPVC windows are designed and manufactured in the UK, as part of our market-leading sustainable approach. We recycle millions of UPVC window and door frames every year, creating new products that last for decades while dramatically reducing our environmental impact.
